Hanson Services’ Response to the COVID-19 Virus

Hanson Services is following recommendations from the CDC for how to respond to the COVID-19 virus. On March 9 letters were sent out to clients and on March 12 letters will go out to caregiving staff.

Because our clients tend to be older and often have health concerns, we will be taking serious precautions to reduce exposing them to the virus. Caregivers are being instructed on proper hand washing techniques and other safety protocols such as using gloves for all hands-on contact with clients, regularly wiping down frequently touched surfaces, keeping their distance and covering up when sneezing or coughing, etc. Of course caregivers are also instructed to monitor their own health and to stay home if they have any symptoms of illness. They will report any symptoms noted in themselves or in clients.

We have also requested that both clients and caregivers inform our office of recent travel outside the U.S. or to states with known clusters of cases.

If you are a Hanson Services client or caregiver who has not received notice of planned precautions, please contact the office for instructions. 216-226-5425

If we all work together and keep communications open and calm, we are sure we can get through this challenging time successfully. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our office by the number mentioned above or by email: hanson@hansonservices.com

Remember: Wash your hands and don’t touch your face! : )
